Mr.Plute has over 25 years of experience in project management, contract management and administration, procurement, process improvements and spend management. This experience includes providing the services to domestic and foreign companies. The project support work includes managing projects funded by Development Banks such as the World Bank and Asian Development Bank.

Dan is the founder of Procurement Services Associates and Material and Contract Services LLC, business enterprises dedicated to providing project support and consulting services to government agencies and private industry companies. The project support services involve providing professionals to support projects, ongoing operations or consulting services.

The companies focus on creating career opportunities for Supply Chain, Contracts, Traffic and Logistics, and Procurement Professionals. Project support work includes assignments to create bills of materials for planned maintenance work, creating an interface between an inventory management / procurement system and a maintenance management system. The work also includes assessing a client’s spend for services, commodities and equipment and preparing project plans to implement new programs to reduce the spend and improve process flow.

The companie’s clientele include state, federal, county and city governments. We have provided career professionals to support DOD awarded work in Iraq. We have also provided project support professionals to BART, LA Metro, Kaiser Permanente, Genentech and a federal government agency for contract close out work. Our strengths include providing contract professionals to develop and prepare scope of work statements, negotiate and award an agreement, mitigate disputes, amend contracts and close out contracts.

Prior to creating the companies, Mr. Plute was a Senior Manager and Project Manager for Bechtel’s Group of Companies. The responsibilities included managing projects in Australia, South Africa, Indonesia, Spain, Chile, China, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Singapore, and Trinidad and Tobago. Such a career opportunity gave Mr. Plute a good start for launching his own successful business.
